Blog: ThisIsMyTruthNow

Posted on Updated on

It seems when I have a few spare minutes on my hand, I try to get creative. Not enough room on the carpet to spell it all out… so I left off the “Now” part for the picture. Something to figure out for the future. Started out with just some TBR books on the floor to decide June’s reads… then this happened!

About Me

I’m Jay and I live in NYC. By profession, I work in technology. By passion, I work in writing. Once you hit my site “ThisIsMyTruthNow” at https://thisismytruthnow.com, you can join the fun and see my blog and various site content. You’ll find book reviews, published and in-progress fiction, TV/Film reviews, favorite vacation spots and my own version of the “365 Daily Challenge.” Since March 13, 2017, I’ve posted a characteristic either I currently embody or one I’d like to embody in the future. 365 days of reflection to discover who I am and what I want out of life… see how you compare! Each month, I will post a summary of a trip I’ve taken somewhere in the world. I’ll cover the transportation, hotel, restaurants, activities, who, what, when, where and why… and let you decide for yourself if it’s a trip worth taking.

Feel free to like, rate, comment or take the poll for each post. Tell me what you think.

Nicely put, it seems so nice that you included book reviews in your blog, should I press on link and do follow it?!

Yes! That might be the question. 🙂 Love meeting new people. I just wish I was a better photographer and staged it a little more of a clever approach.

I think it’s for taking a poll, but I didn’t set one up on this on, so it may be something WordPress added. If you saw the book picture, they you saw everything. There wasn’t anything else.

About 30 of them come from my TBR… then I just started grabbing them off the shelf by size to try to fit them all. 🙂

Oh yes , I saw multi books over the table, but the link itself is not working, however your blog is functioning so well, not worry about. That’s the problem only. 👍

And I thought I had a lot of books! I don’t think I have enough to spell out my title though unless I make smaller letters than you did 😂

12 right now. Got rid of so many over the years tho. Had 750 at one point. But I don’t remember them all to put in goodreads!

I know. I am bad. But I have gotten rid of a bunch. Only 400 or so now. :). You have more than me with e-books!

Yeah for a while ebooks were the only thing I could afford. Paper books were so expensive unless you got lucky with mass market. But also, I get bookbub emails every single day so that just makes the e-book situation worse 😂

I call this a ‘squirrel’ moment. When you are suppose to be working on one thing (like reading, writing, knitting) and then “what’s that strange bird at the feeder” happens.

Thank You! It was a fun one to try. I want to do another one out on my terrace one weekend and take a picture from the roof of the building. But it has to stop raining for the last few weeks! LOL
