Tie: (a) a cloth wrapped around a neck sometimes in the shape of a bow or (b) when there is no clear winner or loser as the score is even
Good Morning, Friends! I am sure you all saw the lovely photo Noriko shared with you in her post today for Dad’s Day 9 Blog Tour. I was in a bow tie for my picture and looked pretty cute if I do say so myself. If you haven’t, here a quick peek again.
Today, I have little to rant about as it’s been a good week. Despite saying they wouldn’t give me any extra people food because of the diet, they did sneak a bit every so often. Halloween went smoothly with the children. We cleaned out the terrace and the Dads didn’t find any birds. So, I suppose we’re back on good footing and I’m not looking to leave this joint anytime soon. Thanks for all the offers to help sneak me away and provide a home in case these two get out of hand again. The score is set back to even and it better stay tied or in my favor. Not in their favor ever again!
After they took my tie off, I started wondering where ties came from. Anyone know who thought up that little contraption? It’s cute but it’s like a collar. I prefer not to wear a collar unless I go outside where it’s required… along with my little tag that says I have had all my shots. As if I could get anyone sick, puhleeeassse. I did get out for a walk recently, so I was forced to wear it for a little while. I find I’m needing shorter walks and more naps lately. Must mean winter is coming. I heard we might get some snow earlier than expected this year. I love to play in the snow. I’m rambling today and I haven’t much to say. I just wanted to let y’all know I’m OK and I will see you again soon… and oh yeah, the Friday Author Alert will be Didi Oviatt who is pretty awesome. She always says hello to me and asks how I’m doing. I like her. Start looking at her page, I linked it so you know just a little bit before Friday! Ciao!
About Me & the “365 Daily Challenge”
I’m Jay, an author who lives in NYC. My debut novel, Watching Glass Shatter, can be purchased on Amazon @ http://mybook.to/WGS. I’ve always been a reader. And now I’m a daily blogger. I decided to start my own version of the “365 Daily Challenge” where since March 13, 2017, I’ve posted a characteristic either I currently embody or one I’d like to embody in the future. 365 days of reflection to discover who I am and what I want out of life.
The goal: Knowledge. Acceptance. Understanding. Optimization. Happiness. Help. For myself. For others. And if all else fails, humor. When I’m finished in one year, I hope to have more answers about the future and what I will do with the remainder of my life. All aspects to be considered. It’s not just about a career, hobbies, residence, activities, efforts, et al. It’s meant to be a comprehensive study and reflection from an ordinary man. Not a doctor. Not a therapist. Not a friend. Not an encyclopedia full of prior research. Just pure thought, a blogged journal with true honesty.
Join the fun and read a new post each day, or check out my book reviews, TV/Film reviews or favorite vacation spots. And feel free to like, rate, comment or take the poll for each post. Note: All written content is my original creation and copyrighted to me, but the graphics and images were linked from other sites and belong to them. Many thanks to their original creators.
The talented and amazing Noriko @ Diary of a Bookfiend pulled together a beautifully flowing interview over the launch of Watching Glass Shatter. She also shared some fun pics (see one below). You must check out her blog at the link below!
