If you are new to the ThisIsMyTruthNow blog, the 365 Daily Challenge, or the Author Alert segment, check out the About Site section from the main menu. Below are some key things to know about this author, but at the end of this post, you’ll see the permanent page I’ve added to my blog. You can return to check out more on who they are, what they’re writing and how to buy any of their future work. I am pleased to present the very talented writing team, N. N. Light. You may remember this superstar duo from a review I wrote on one of their inspirational books last year. They were gracious enough to participate on an Author Alert and I am super excited to share more about these amazing and wonderful people with you. Let’s hear directly from them:

———-

When Jay asked us to come up with one word to describe who we are and what we want readers to know, we cringed. One word? C’mon, we’re writers. We thrive on using many words to tell a story or write inspirational thoughts.

{Alert Interruption: They think they’re so funny… I have to choose one 365 word every day, so it’s fair game to make them do it, too!}

Mrs. N closed her eyes for a few minutes before exclaiming, “We uplift, darling!”

 Uplift

Whether a verb or noun, it’s the act of inspiring someone to * fill in the blank* and that’s what N. N. Light is all about. We want to inspire people to make a difference in their corner of the world, help others, go after their dreams, spread kindness and squash negativity.

creative people

Our mission statement for our books, our family-run PR firm, the POTL blog and our life is: Spread the Light.  These three simple words are easy to remember and yet can change the world!  It doesn’t matter what spiritual belief you hold dear, you have the Light inside you.  Kindness, compassion, empathy, encouragement are all attributes of the Light.

fresh start

In our latest release, N. N. Light’s Book of Daily Inspiration, we compiled 365 uplifting thoughts to help readers get through their day. It’s like having a motivational coach in your pocket (or device), available 24/7, to uplift your spirits and get you focused on your day.

{Alert Interruption: If you didn’t read my review, you should check it out right now. I adored this book and plan to re-read it again, one month at a time to keep inspiring me.}

Title: N. N. Light’s Book of Daily Inspiration

Author: N. N. Light

Genre: Inspirational, Motivational, Self-Improvement, Personal Growth

Book Blurb:  “Spread the Light and inspire others to do the same.” — N. N. Light

In 2013, we wrote a mission statement and started the Princess of the Light (POTL) blog. We wanted to test a theory. Could one person (or in our case, one couple) use uplifting words to create change?

The answer is a resounding yes! People from all over the world responded to our short inspirational thoughts of the day, and our following grew. What started out as a few people promoting kindness and goodwill turned into a movement. In every city, there are Light-Bearers making a difference and we want you to join us.

Everyone needs inspiration. It doesn’t matter what spiritual belief you hold dear, you have the Light inside you. Kindness, compassion, empathy, encouragement are all attributes of the Light. In this book, you’ll find a ninety second inspirational thought for each day of the year. You’ll be inspiring people to spread the Light daily with our collection of inspirational thoughts. From giving of yourself to simply smiling, these are easy concepts for anyone to apply!

 Acclaimed Reviews:

“Each daily quote is written along with an experience or story from the authors’ life journeys and I was astonished with how many of the stories applied to myself as if this was my own personal guide.” — Mischenko, Goodreads

 “Books like these can be tough. Everyone can say ‘RahRah’ to help motivate you (is that the proper way to spell ‘RahRah’ — eh, sounds good!), but it can get old quickly if the messages aren’t lyrically written or vast in their range of advice and inspiration. The husband and wife writing team of N.N. Light definitely found a perfect balance in how they wrote this book… from quotes across all walks of life (sports heroes, artists, motivational speakers, profits, philosophers, et al) to finding an interactive approach to applying the message to our every day lives.” — James, Goodreads and Author of Watching Glass Shatter

 “As is usually the case with such works, I found some parts particularly relevant, as if she was addressing some of my own thoughts and fears (synchronicity at work, I guess).” — Nicholas Rossis, Award Winning Author

 “It’s filled with quotations, short stories, and reflections. It’s a wonderful way to start your day or end your evening. I received the eBook version but I think I would prefer this type of book in print.” — Lisa Reigel, Goodreads

 “If you’re looking for a devotional to uplift your spirits or simply want to jump-start your day with practical, down-to-earth advice, pick up this collection.” — Joanne Guidoccio, Goodreads

Author Biography:

N.N. Light is the award-winning husband-wife writing team, commonly known as Mr. N and Mrs. N.

Mrs. N. has been creating stories ever since she was little. Her grandfather remembers when she was two years old, she would stand at the top of the stairs and tell him a story filled with emotion (and in a language foreign to him) with her hands on her hips. Let’s just say she was a born storyteller.

They’re blissfully happy and loves all things chocolate, books, music, movies, art, sports, trains, history, cooking and baking. Their mantra is to spread the Light.

Most of the time you can find them on Twitter or getting new ideas on how to spread the Light on Pinterest. They’re a proud member of ASMSG and Independent Author Network.

In addition to being authors, they’re also book promoters/reviewers, social media marketers/influencers and the owners of N. N. Light Author Promotions. They both love books, have ever since they were young. Matching up books and readers is something that gives them great pleasure.

About Me & the “365 Daily Challenge”

I’m Jay, an author who lives in NYC. My debut novel, Watching Glass Shatter, can be purchased on Amazon @ http://mybook.to/WGS. I’ve always been a reader. And now I’m a daily blogger. I decided to start my own version of the “365 Daily Challenge” where since March 13, 2017, I’ve posted a characteristic either I currently embody or one I’d like to embody in the future. 365 days of reflection to discover who I am and what I want out of life.

The goal: Knowledge. Acceptance. Understanding. Optimization. Happiness. Help. For myself. For others. And if all else fails, humor. When I’m finished in one year, I hope to have more answers about the future and what I will do with the remainder of my life. All aspects to be considered. It’s not just about a career, hobbies, residence, activities, efforts, et al. It’s meant to be a comprehensive study and reflection from an ordinary man. Not a doctor. Not a therapist. Not a friend. Not an encyclopedia full of prior research. Just pure thought, a blogged journal with true honesty.

Join the fun and read a new post each day, or check out my book reviews, TV/Film reviews or favorite vacation spots. And feel free to like, rate, comment or take the poll for each post. Note: All written content is my original creation and copyrighted to me, but the graphics and images were linked from other sites and belong to them. Many thanks to their original creators.
