365 Challenge: Day 354 – Will

Posted on Updated on

Will: a need for something to happen (and no, I’m not talking about a testament!)

Note: Image came from Success.com (not me)

Where there is a willthere is a way. If there is a chance in a million that you can do something, anything, to keep what you want from ending, do it. Pry the door open or, if need be, wedge your foot in that door and keep it open.” – Pauline Kael

Today’s message is simple. I’d only ever heard the first 9 words… never the rest. When I stumbled on them today, I knew it was something to share. It doesn’t always apply in every situation, but if you have faith in yourself and are doing something positive to benefit others, find a way to make it happen. Believe in yourself.

Guess what & not who: After today, there are only 11 posts left in the 365 Daily Challenge… I’ll soon start the countdown for the big reveal on what happens next with This Is My Truth Now!

About Me & the “365 Daily Challenge”

I’m Jay, an author who lives in NYC. My debut novel, Watching Glass Shatter, can be purchased on Amazon @ http://mybook.to/WGS. I’ve always been a reader. And now I’m a daily blogger. I decided to start my own version of the “365 Daily Challenge” where since March 13, 2017, I’ve posted a characteristic either I currently embody or one I’d like to embody in the future. 365 days of reflection to discover who I am and what I want out of life.

The goal: Knowledge. Acceptance. Understanding. Optimization. Happiness. Help. For myself. For others. And if all else fails, humor. When I’m finished in one year, I hope to have more answers about the future and what I will do with the remainder of my life. All aspects to be considered. It’s not just about a career, hobbies, residence, activities, efforts, et al. It’s meant to be a comprehensive study and reflection from an ordinary man. Not a doctor. Not a therapist. Not a friend. Not an encyclopedia full of prior research. Just pure thought, a blogged journal with true honesty.

Join the fun and read a new post each day, or check out my book reviews, TV/Film reviews or favorite vacation spots. And feel free to like, rate, comment or take the poll for each post. Note: All written content is my original creation and copyrighted to me, but the graphics and images were linked from other sites and belong to them. Many thanks to their original creators.

Hi! Yes, it’s been quite a year. 🙂 You’re welcome for the pep talk. Sometimes we all need them. And hopefully you’ll like the new segments I’ve got planned for the blog, too. Happy Tuesday!

I am intrigued as to what you will do on day 365 and beyond. Any hints?

I will be revealing it in the next ten days across 3 posts. I can say it will not be a 365 post, only because I need to give myself a few days a week without the REQUIREMENT to post. I may still post every day, but I want the freedom to skip if I need without worry…. it’ll have lots of reader / writer content, and ‘advice’ aspect, and more interaction… that’s the goal! 🙂

Great quote!!! This is one of my favorite words ever, Jay. I’m glad it made the cut… even if it was less than two weeks from the end of this 365 word adventure! Can’t wait to see what’s next 🙂
