I’m hoping to take some photos on Saturday when I make the cakes. Then I will bring them to Long Island for Easter at my mom’s… ice them there!

Thanks for the nomination! 💖 and you had to give up cheese?? I think I would die…
LikeLiked by 1 person
You’re welcome! I compromised. Instead of eating it every day, I’m only allowed to add it to things. Which means… I can’t just snack on cheese. That will cut it in half!
LikeLiked by 1 person
Add it to things… Like bread?? Lol! I can sit down with a log of goat cheese and a baguette and happily eat that for dinner… I definitely need to take a page out of your book since I’ll definitely have a doctor yelling at me in my near future! Lol!!

Ha, yes, that was the problem. Every Sat and Sun, W and I would have crackers, cheese and fig jam. We’d split an entire block of cheese from the cheese shop, trying something new all the time. Then quiche for brunch. Mexican once per week. Pasta with cheese once per week. It was EVERYwhere. I’m also 41 now, so that’s just part of the problem. I’m sure you’ve got time to worry less.

Ha ha! Far less time than you think! I’m in my mid 30s and my man is in his 40s…we always say we should start thinking of these things…. Tomorrow… Maybe tomorrow. 😉

ah, then start now, especially since you also like to drink. 😛 It’s really not so bad, I’m making it sound worse. I just behave during the week and do what I want on weekends. lol

Who told you I like to drink?? 😇😇 lol! Ya…. Being responsible…. Blah. It was bound to happen one day… Even my Tinkerbell tattoo couldn’t keep me in Neverland forever… 🍻

Congratulations! I only watch movies in theater if they are worth it otherwise i wait for them to come on TV. Once a week cheese won’t hurt, you can have it if you manage to work out at least 4 days a week and less alcohol.
LikeLiked by 2 people
Thanks! You’re exactly right. I was eating it EVERY day… so I’ve compromised. I’m back to 5 to 6 days a week working out, only 5 drinks per week and half as much cheese/red meat/desserts. That should fix it.

Thanks for including me! I love autumn too. If it wasn’t for the nice temperatures of summer, it would definitely be my favorite season. It’s a toss-up for sure.
How exciting that you’re going to England and Italy! Will be a nice way to celebrate your book launch.

Nice to learn more about you, Jay. One word of warning, England can be freezing during Spring [from a sunny South African]. I love England and Italy but, gosh, England is always cold.

Cakes came out fantastic, except I didn’t use chocolate. Since it was Easter, I dyed the cake green and pink.
Thank you so much! Book launch has been strong. I can’t wait for the trip. How’ve you been?

I’m glad to hear the book launch has been so great! That’s wonderful. Things have been great here, thank you for asking! 😀 Just really, really busy with a new job and new house, but I’m hoping it should all come together and calm down again soon. 🙂 Hope you’ve been having a fantastic weekend!
