My Very Own “Book Bucket List” – April 2018
I’ve knocked the 11th entry off my Book Bucket List: A Column of Fire by Ken Follett. You can see my review here. In its place, I’ve added Our Little Secret by Roz Nay to round out the 12 options for the next vote (post with poll to VOTE is below).
The poll for the May 2018 read is open. Click below to vote by 4/16!
Below is the link to the on-going Book Bucket List and a background on what it’s all about. My Very Own “Book Bucket List” — Click the link to access everything since the beginning of this post series as well as see the 12 books currently on the list.
About Me
I’m Jay, an author who lives in NYC. My debut novel, Watching Glass Shatter, can be purchased on Amazon @ http://mybook.to/WGS. My second novel, Father Figure, can be purchased on Amazon @ http://mybook.to/FatherFigure.
Beyond these two books, I have a number of short stories, poems and other novels in various shapes and forms. I also read A LOT. First the book review goes on Goodreads, and then I send it on over to my WordPress blog at https://thisismytruthnow.com, where you’ll also find TV & Film reviews, Tags, Awards, Age/Genre/Book Reads and Author Spotlights, as well as the revealing and introspective 365 Daily Challenge.
You can also access my social media profiles to get the details on the who/what/when/where and my pictures. Leave a comment and let me know what you think. Vote in the poll and ratings. Thanks for stopping by. Note: All written content is my original creation and copyrighted to me, but the graphics and images were linked from other sites and belong to them. I am desperate to read Kate Morton, but I won’t let myself buy any books unless it’s the winner. I happen to own 9 of the 12 on here already, so it’s fate cruely playing with me.
You doing okay today?

I understand. I’m doing okay. Thanks for asking Jay. We applied at an apartment las Friday and we’re waiting to hear back from them with an appointment to see it. If we like it they’ll run our credit/background check and we can move. I’m trying not to sit here in an anxiety-fueled ball of OCD. This is a nice place, but we have a couple of night owls above us which has made sleeping a challenge.

Great! I will probably read it in May even if not picked as I am trying to close all ARCs. We can compare notes!

Of course I had to vote for Dragonfly since it’s right here by me. .. ; ) I like the cover design for FF. How are you? Hope you’re getting some rest.

I’m good. I’m trying to balance blogging and marketing for the book. I also wanted to have a short story written this month, but I’m not sure I’ll get to all 3. Things are well. Thanks. And you?

Oh I forgot to add, I love Roald Dahl books and loved reading them to the kids at bedtime when they were little. Those were fun times.

I appreciate it. I love them, too. I’ve read 4 or 5, I think. I would like to try more once my TBR of books is a little lower.
