Yikes I forgot this is not chat. How do I get the books to read? Do I need to buy them?

Ha! Too funny. You can buy the ones in week 1 thru 3, or maybe from the library or possibly a few free sites online. Then you can review them, or you can post anything about the author or book if you don’t have a copy.

In Week 4, with the authors who blog, we have opportunities to get their books for free to read coming up soon!

        Anyone can!
It’s really no different than buddy reading. We held the polls. These 10 were the winning books. I organized them into categories.
Read whenever you want but before the date to post if possible. Then post your review and let me know. I’ll link to the rest, and we’ll have a whole series of children’s book reviews in august to help promote them and literacy! 🙂

You’re not stupid. Just new to my craziness?

I bought goodnight moon. Will be delivered tomorrow. So I will try to read it with my niece over the weekend. I will see her reaction to it too. She is going to be 3 in a couple of months. So it would be ideal for her. Then will post the review on or before 10….cool?

I walked to the library yesterday and got all the books for weeks one and two. (Thanks for giving me an excuse to get some exercise in). I had given the Dr. Seuss book to our daughter on her recent graduation from college! Looking forward to participating. It will be nice to chat with you on a more regular basis, Jay, been missing your blog posts 🙂

Yes! We will work this out. If you want to send me the review / details, I’ll do a post from my blog but say it’s yours and provide links to your GR profile or anything else you’d like! Or if it’s on FB or other places, we can link it to there. 🙂

Thanks, Jay! My GR’s profile will work. Do I go under the Children’s Readathon pull down menu and type the review there next Friday? Please forgive all the questions. I’m a newbie with readathons. 😉
