Happy Friday! Today is the last day of my blog invasion! I bet you are ready to have Jay, the amazing author man, back. With the hustle and bustle of unpacking, I am sure he will forget all about the fact that I have access to his blog. If that is the case, I will be back in the future, to cause a little mischief, for sure. I promise!
Let’s make sure we send positive energy to Jay, as he makes his way back to NYC this weekend!
Oh, and don’t forget! Next week kicks off a very special blog tour for Jay’s latest novel, Father Figure, hosted by Reads & Reels Book Tours, June 4th – 8th. You won’t want to miss it!
Between the fast-paced New York City, a rural Mississippi town and a charming Pennsylvania college campus filled with secrets, two young girls learn the consequences of growing up too quickly.
Amalia Graeme, abused by her mother for most of her life, longs to escape her desolate hometown and fall in love. Contemplating her loss of innocence and conflicting feelings between her boyfriend and the dangerous attraction she’s developed for an older man, Amalia faces life-altering tragedies.
Brianna Porter, a sassy, angst-ridden teenager raised in New York City, yearns to find her life’s true purpose, conquer her fear of abandonment, and interpret an intimidating desire for her best friend, Shanelle. Desperate to find the father whom her mother refuses to reveal, Brianna accidentally finds out a shocking truth about her missing parent.
Set in alternating chapters two decades apart, the parallels between their lives and the subsequent collision that is bound to happen is revealed. FATHER FIGURE is an emotional story filled with mystery, romance, and suspense.
Thank you for spending the last 3 weeks with me! I have had a fabulous time!
I’m back! What does this mean? This means that my Little Bro is having fun on his vacation and not checking social media! Woo Hoo! I am so proud of him! (Let’s still keep this on the down low…)
I would never want Jay worrying about anything that might be happening here at home. We all know that after writing his second novel, Father Figure, he deserves a break!
Speaking of Father Figure… I admit, I have read it twice! This morning, I was sitting at my desk, and I noticed it was missing! Where is my book?! Then, I heard a shuffle behind me… MURPHY!!!
Based on that look, I guess Murphy will be borrowing my copy for a while…
Happy Friday Eve!
